VALERE is seeking a ServiceNow Application Developer for our client. In this role, you will support platform expansion by developing scalable, secure, and reusable ServiceNow solutions while partnering with Product Owners and cross-functional teams.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical IT engineering designs on the ServiceNow Platform

• Analyze business requirements and ensure design traceability

• Create and execute automated testing strategies using ServiceNow’s Automated Test Framework

• Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable ServiceNow code following engineering best practices

• Advise teams and customers on platform capabilities, best practices, and technical solutions

• Conduct gap analyses and recommend solutions to meet business needs

• Own code delivery from design through test automation and deployment

• Design extensible software that allows for customer customization

• Contribute to new features while enhancing existing products

• Collaborate daily with developers, product managers, and QA teams in an agile environment

• Lead and sustain knowledge-sharing practices across the team

• Perform change management within ServiceNow following FRIT policies

• Indirectly lead or participate in complex or strategic technical projects

• Provide updates during Daily Standups

• Support compliance with internal audit and Information Security Manual requirements

WHAT YOU BRING

Top Hard Skills:

• Service Catalog development, Flow Designer, CSA certification

• ServiceNow platform expertise (forms, tables, ACLs, Next Experience UI)

• Workflow automation experience (Flow Designer, approvals, notifications)

• Strong JavaScript experience for scripting and platform customization

• Advanced ServiceNow scripting (Glide APIs, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes)

• Integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs

Pay Rate: This is a contract role with an hourly pay rate of $80-$90/hr.
Your specific rate will depend on your qualifications, education, certifications, location, and how well your experience aligns with the client's requirements.
