Location: Richfield, MN (Hybrid – onsite 2–3 days per week)

About the Opportunity:
VALERE is seeking a DevOps Engineer for our client. This role supports the Enterprise API Management team, which builds and manages solutions for enterprise API management capabilities and token services. The team focuses on delivering reliable, secure, and automated platform solutions while collaborating closely with engineers through pair programming and test-driven development.

What You’ll Do:

• Build, deploy, and operate platform services with a focus on automation and reliability

• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and operational readiness

• Support and troubleshoot platform services and deployments

• Work closely with engineers through pair programming and collaborative delivery practices

• Contribute to debugging and development when needed

• Support API platform capabilities including API Gateway and security

What You Bring:

• Kubernetes: 5+ years

• Helm Charts: 4+ years

• AWS (core offerings; certification preferred): 5+ years

• Java & Spring Boot: 5+ years

• API Security: 5+ years

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices

• Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform or CloudFormation preferred)

• Experience with API Gateway or API Management platforms

• Familiarity with observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing)

• Collaborative development practices including pair programming and code reviews

• Exposure to Lua programming is a plus

Your specific rate will depend on your qualifications, education, certifications, location, and how well your experience aligns with the client's requirements.
